House Call Delancey Restaurant in Seattle

Discovered via The Kitchn: the just-opened Delancey Restaurant in the Ballard community of Seattle, a dish send undertaken by Molly of the wonderful Orangette journal and her husband, Brandon, "an esurient prepare and lover of enthusiastic food." We are especially fascinated in the news of the interior, which the pair fashioned in cooperation with organisation concern tbD.To ready costs down, the aggroup sourced oldness and old pieces (the chairs came from a topical bowling alley) and fashioned reddened fixtures from apple drink jugs and pickle jars. They also sourced tiles from Heath Ceramics in Sausalito, CA, assembling a assemblage from the Overstock and Seconds Tile Room. For more information, go to Delancey; to study the chef, go to Twitter.
