Furniture Hans Wegner Tondern Table at DWR

New at Design Within Reach: digit of the most amend tables we've seen (and a newborn entry on our desire list), the Tondern Dining Table by Nordic officer Hans Wegner. Made of walnut and tree (a artist Wegner touch, mixing woods) with monument trestle hardware, the Tondern Dining Table is 78 inches wide, 29 inches high, and 34 inches deep; $2,500 at DWR.

N.B. DWR just touched its Mix and Match Dining Furniture Sale up a week; it today starts Saturday, Sept 5.  Buy a compounding of quaternary or more superior dining chairs, stools, credenzas, and tables and intend a 15 proportionality reduction (good news: the Tondern Table is included).

Ha...."inspired by"....back to their older structure of borrowed ideas and messing with organisation as a whole.

Look at their Metric table
(Blu Dot Strut plateau inspired? literal double is more same it)

Dover Collection - taken idea

Lacuna Collection - added taken intent from Blu Dot

American Modern Collection - inspired by martyr admiral - ha!

Alonzo lead - taken from the Heller produced composer chair

American Modern Bench - admiral "inspired" - are you kidding?

Tondern Table - who over there knew Wegner substantially sufficiency to be inspired by?

And more......look for yourself.

There is no DWR Design Studio...just whatever man flipping finished magazines and books....and then pointing.

Now that the beta seems to be the actual site, I'm rattling dismayed at the change of Remodelista from a ultimate ease foppish organisation blog, into an online shopping mall.

It utilised to be a feeling to meet the place because it was so not actuation products at you (though of instruction you knew where you could acquire them).

The objects shown are ease bonny and I'll ease meet but something has been earnestly forfeited here and it's kinda sad.
