House Call: Oddfellows Cafe in Seattle
August 10th, 2009
From Janet:
Industrial-strength coffee, strange workplace goods, and another matter considerations aside, Oddfellows“all-day, all-night community cafe” on Washington Hill in metropolis is worth a meet for the expanse alone. The designers cured the countenance of the well-worn, 100-year-old Oddfellows Hall, with its brick walls and rural vegetation floors, adding saved vegetation surround panel and salvaged furnishings. The mercury-shaded needlecraft works lights, sourced from Great Stuff (also in Seattle), are especially appealing. Photos via Flickr.
