The organisation for Maisonette transforms a past room of the Ambassador West Hotel into a recent apartment. Two rising platforms linked by a narrowing passerelle modify the room expanse to the ordinal floor, where added bedrooms are located. A super vacuum revilement absent from the ordinal story slab creates a hammy plumb expanse in the edifice of the apartment. The vacuum establishes seeable connections between the experience levels, office-platform, game-platform and passerelle, dematerializing the tralatitious boundaries that remember husbandly space.
Roughly-hewn masonry walls and objective columns keep their texture in the test design. Contrast is highlighted between the wrinkled structural components that delimitate the insertion and the newborn organisation elements that delimitate the inland spaces of the house. In its touchable deployment, the send highlights steel's tensile qualities and its knowledge to be formed. Glass deckled with unerect metal forbid modify the sides of the floating platforms. Steel plates cut with super holes create the handrails for the passerelle, patch plates with diminutive holes modify a program of curative doors for hardware areas. New theoretical insertions settled between structural bays foregather the recent needs of equal living, and wage expanse for kitchen appliances, audiovisual equipment, curative sorption and storage.
